When planning any type of corporate event, the first place you will need to start is setting your budget and working out what you need to spend that money on.  This could involve venue or marquee hire, hospitality including catering and mobile bar hire, styling the venue or hiring exhibition props, AV equipment.

Catering Options

There are so many options when it comes to catering for corporate events, it depends on the style of the event, number of people attending and of course, your budget.    Do you want a formal sit-down meal? A finger buffet or bowl food so delegates can mingle and network while they eat?  Do you want to make it a feature and have something less formal like a mobile street food van if you have access to outside space?  If you are having a drinks reception will you require any hors d’oeuvres to be passed around?

AV Hire

If you are dry hiring a venue, you may need to source all your AV requirements yourself.  Speak to the suppliers about your event and your AV needs, the type of venue and its size as well as any access or power restrictions.  They will be able to give advice on the best way to support your event and may also provide AV technicians to stay for the duration of the event and offer assistance to ensure the event runs smoothly.
