The principal, Caroline Houston, managed weddings, formal dinners and banqueting for 10 years at York’s Merchant Taylor’s Hall. Prior to that she cut her teeth at some of the finest establishments around, including Ripley Castle, Chevin Lodge and York’s Viking Hotel. With Gordon Brown MP, HRH Prince Charles, Robert Hardy and Dame Judy Dench amongst our past clientele, you can be sure to trust us with your big occasion.

Caroline and her team are committed to ensuring, from the first meeting to the big day itself, that you receive the highest standards of professionalism, a friendly and personal service, and perfect results - whether it’s a wedding you want organising, a special dinner, your Christmas function, or even a private party at your home.

As well as organising a superb event, we’ll make sure the food and drink we serve is of the very highest standard. We carefully source our fresh ingredients from known local producers, after visiting their farms and dairies to see the provenance of their provisions ourselves.

All of our dishes are original recipes, home-made by us to your exact requirements. Whether you want haute cuisine, traditional Yorkshire, or specialist menus such as vegan or vegetarian, we’ll delight you with our creative menus and delicious meals.
