London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It has a population of almost 7.5 million people and is made up of the city plus 32 boroughs. As well as these two, London is also represented in the Premier League by Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
London is considered to be one of the most expensive places to buy a house in the world. In the borough of Kensington and Chelsea the average house price is £894,000!
The city is split in two by the River Thames, which runs right through central London and finishes up just north of a Gloucestershire village called Kemble.
